Laffah’s Grilled Chicken Review – Juicy, Spicy, and Worth the Hype?
If you’ve ever walked past a Laffah outlet during peak hours, you’ve likely caught that irresistible aroma of grilled meat in the air and spotted a line of hungry customers waiting to dig in. Naturally, I had to try it for myself— and so, tonight, I headed to Laffah with a couple of friends to try their much-talked-about grilled chicken – and to be honest, it lived up to the hype, not just because of the food but with the vibes.
🍽️ What We Ordered
We went for a whole grilled chicken meal, which came with generous sides: thick-cut potato slices, Arabic bread, pickles, white garlic and ketchup sauce. The portion was surprisingly enough – perfect for three people (even four could share it, to be honest). As we were three, we ended up packing some leftovers.
🕐 Wait Time
We didn’t wait too long for our food – it came out reasonably fast and hot off the grill. No complaints here.
🐔 The Chicken
The chicken itself? Juicy, tender, and loaded with flavour, especially on the outside where all the grilled spices hit just right. It had that smoky, charred finish on top – exactly what you'd want from proper grilled chicken.
The potato slices were more than enough – crispy on the edges and soft inside – and paired with the garlicky dip. The pickles added a nice tang to cut through all the richness, and the Arabic bread was perfect for wrapping up bites or wiping off the leftover garlic sauce (no shame!).
💸 Value for Money
The only downside? The price. At 50 AED for one whole chicken, it felt a bit on the expensive side – especially if you’re comparing it to similar places. Still, considering the portion size, it’s not terrible if you’re sharing.
Final Thoughts:
Laffah’s grilled chicken is definitely worth trying, especially if you're going with friends and planning to share. It’s hearty, flavourful, and satisfying. Would I go back? Yes – with a group again to make the most of the portion and would try their other offerings.
